Nick has a BA in drama from Exeter and an MA in writing for performance from Goldsmiths college. He is a writer, performer and theatre maker.
Nick creates work that asks people to engage with spaces, places and people. He is one half of the company ‘Take Stock Exchange’ which produces work in the London borough of Redbridge to create a space where people can think about themselves, where they live and the world around them. He also worked within Wood Street indoor market to create A Night at the Dogs (Theatre 41), which was about the closed Walthamstow Dog Track. He plans to return with the company ‘Slap Haddock’ to look at the filmic history of the area. Nick is a graduate of the Young Writers Programme at The Royal Court and wants to bring forgotten and ignored voices to the stage.
For Circadian Troupe Nick is an associate director, which also means he will be putting on a chef suit and coming up with puns. The work he creates here is about animating space and asking people to think differently about the space they are in but most of all about having fun.
